Bothell American Legion Post #127 fed over 80 guests at the annual Santos Thanksgiving dinner.

Santos House is a halfway house for homeless veterans in units located at the old Sandpoint Naval Station.  This is the 11th year for this program which was started by Isabel Scheid of the Bothell Auxiliary.

Honored at the dinner were Harvey LaBorn and Preston Scheid. They were both honored for over 60 years of service to veterans as members of the American Legion.

Harvey is a past commander of the Bothell Post and has been involved in many post functions.

Preston has donated thousands of hours at the VA Hospital and Fisher House and continues to assist veterans.

Pins and certificates were presented by Post Commander Burt Marsh and State Commander Jake Cabuag.

The Bothell Post is now located at 21920 Hwy 9, across from the Brightwater complex.

The post serves veterans from Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville and Mill Creek areas.  Their service officers help all veterans with problems.
