Firefighters and staff at Snohomish County Fire District 7 helped support  fifteen local families this holiday season. Each of Fire District 7’s fire stations adopted two to three families in need, buying them holiday gifts they wouldn’t otherwise be able to give their children.

“This year we were able to double the number of families we adopted,” explained Lieutenant Joe Basta, who organizes the annual gift drive. “We were thrilled to be able to provide so many gifts for families in our own community. We love being able to help our own neighbors every year.”

Fire District 7 fire stations are also drop-off sites for the Maltby Food Bank.
