During the month of December, the Cedarcrest High School students from the DECA and FFA clubs made their annual pilgrimage to the “North Pole,” and volunteered for the Forgotten Children’s Fund.

The Forgotten Children’s Fund is a volunteer organization that helps families in need during the holidays. DECA and FFA students helped by spending a few hours at Santa’s Workshop choosing and wrapping several presents for many families.

FFA member Katie Walsh spearheaded the event in conjunction with her senior project.

The clubs were also joined by the Carr, Connelly and Hillestad families.  Everyone really enjoyed this volunteer activity because it helped many families and gave everyone involved a very rewarding feeling, and are looking forward to helping out again next year.
