Refuse to be a victim — a free seminar

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

Once again, the Woodinville Police Department is offering a free seminar covering crime prevention and personal safety strategies.
The workshop, “Refuse To Be A Victim,” was developed by the women of the National Rifle Association of America (NRA) in 1993, in response to women nationwide who requested crime prevention and personal safety information. The program has evolved throughout the years and includes both women and men.

The NRA continues to sponsor the seminar in conjunction with many other businesses promoting and teaching safety education.
The seminar content will address mental preparedness, home  and physical security and personal protection devices.
Residents or business owners in the city of Woodinville are welcome to attend.

The seminar is designed for small groups, so space is limited to 20 participants.  To sign-up, contact Officer Shelia Starrett by phone: (425) 877-2279, x 2284, or by email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
