  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

In place of the the February Upper Bear Creek Community Council Meeting, please attend the open house scheduled for Wednesday, February 29, at the Woodinville Library regarding Community Service Areas.

Featured at the open houses will be a review and comments on the proposed Rural Community Service Area Boundary alternatives

King County is holding three informational open house opportunities to allow interested rural residents, businesses and organizations to preview, ask questions and comment on proposed Rural Community Service Area Boundary Alternatives.

Community Service Areas will cover all of unincorporated King County and will serve as the foundation for residents, businesses and organizations to have access to county programs and services, along with participation and engagement opportunities. Boundaries already exist for all of the county’s urban unincorporated areas and Vashon-Maury Island, thus these meetings will focus on creation of boundaries in rural unincorporated areas.
