An amateur (ham) radio course for the entry-level technician license will be offered through the Emergency Services Coordinating Agency starting on March 26 for seven consecutive weeks on Monday nights, with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) exam scheduled for May 14. For amateurs already possessing the technician license, a course for the mid-level general license will be offered simultaneously.There is no charge for the course, but participants need to either purchase a book through Emergency Services Coordinating Agency at a discounted price or obtain one separately.
