Sixteen Woodinville High School students and staff members participated in “The Big Climb” at the Columbia Tower on March 25, raising over $3,600 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Falcons climbed 69 flights of stairs, amounting to 1311 steps and 788 feet of vertical elevation, in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the fight against blood cancers.  For the Falcons, this is a cause that hits close to home, as a friend and member of the Woodinville High School community was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
