The competition was very challenging at the Tolt Middle School spelling bee this year.  It took many rounds to declare a champion.

This year that award went to eighth grade student Hunter Montgomery. Hunter represented Tolt at the King Snohomish Counties regional bee on March 25th.

The winner of the regional bee will travel to Washington, D.C., to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Lynzee Hoegger was the TMS bee runner up.

Other courageous competitors in the school bee were: Taylor Amble, Brenden Berg, Amy Chandler, Piper Cramer, Luther Darling, Coulson Darrington, Samuel Eads-Ford, Melissa Elkins, Jackson Frank, Matthew Ibershof, Jackson Armstrong, Samuel Jennings, Gabby Klocek, Alexandra Luther-Gray, Zachary Malcom, Jenna Templin, Ashley Vega and Kai Viernes.

A special thank you  to parent volunteer, Mrs. Schulz.
