Johnson’s eight points leads Bellevue boys past Northshore in lacrosse

BOTHELL — Cole Johnson had eight points to lead Bellevue to an 18 - 3 boys high school lacrosse win over Northshore, Thursday at Bothell High School.  Johnson’s four goals and four assists equaled the junior attackman’s two highest performance in wins against Lake Washington and Woodinville to start the season.After edging ahead of Northshore 3 - 2 in the first, the Wolverines delivered seven second-quarter goals to take a 10 - 3 win into the intermission.  In the second half, Bellevue was unchallenged blanking Northshore with four goals each in the third and the fourth.Blake Samuel contributed four gals and Andrew Gulrajani and Drew Douglas each had three.  Northshore scoring came from Drew Tosaya, Josh Jurgenson, and William Ohrenschall.

Bellevue (7-2-0) next faces Oceanside (NY), Tuesday, April 10.

Northshore (0-6-0) faced Woodinville (1-7-0), Saturday, April 7 at Bothell High School. Score not available at press time.
