Pet of the Week - April 9, 2012

  • Written by Homeward Pet Adoption

Sally POWAre you looking for a spunky and devoted Chihuahua? Meet Sally! She comes to Homeward Pet by way of the Yakima area after the city discovered that her owner was housing too many pets.

Sally is a wonderful dog who is finally looking forward to receiving the attention that she deserves.

This seven year old has a zest for life and absolutely loves being with people. Among Sally’s favorite activities are playing with her soccer ball and barking at cats.

She would do best with kids who are over 14 years old.

Sally has lived with lots of other dogs and has done well, with the exception for guarding her food from them. Can you blame her?

There were nine other dogs, and what’s this little girl to do?

Although she weighs only 16 pounds, she has a big personality and can’t wait to show it off. Come see for yourself and take her home!

Come meet Sally at Homeward Pet!

We’re located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville.  Our shelter is open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.  See all our adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at www.homewardpet.org.

April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. Homeward Pet joins other animal welfare organizations to honor your compassion and commitment in helping to end animal suffering all over the world, and right here in our community.

To find out more about how you can help raise awareness of animal cruelty, visit www.homewardpet.org or www.aspca.org.
