Delays due to road construction near Kirkland’s Juanita Village

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

Commuters who drive, ride, walk or bus through Kirkland’s Juanita Village area may experience long delays between now and April 20 as resurfacing on several roads in the area continues.

Paving contractors will resurface 98th Avenue NE, NE 120th Place and 100th Avenue NE between NE 116th Street and NE 124th Street.

The paving is expected to be complete by April 20. Commuters are advised to use alternate routes.

Following the re-paving, additional surface work will require lane closures and minimal traffic delays through April 27.

To lessen the total impacts of multiple road projects in the same area, the city is extending the resurfacing project hours (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) so that more work can be completed.
