Pet of the Week - April 23, 2012

  • Written by Homeward Pet Adoption

Rosie POWThis sweet little dog is named Rosie!

She comes to Homeward Pet by way of an overcrowded California shelter.

Thankful to be safe and sound, her next wish is to find a quieter and permanent home to settle into.

Rosie weighs just 10 pounds and can be a bit shy, so she is best suited for a household with respectful kids who are over the age of 12 who can be gentle with her.

We recommend a cat free home, but she is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with them in her trademark rambunctious style.

Rosie needs a little work on her house training and she would also like to gain some self-confidence. She is quite a joy when she warms up and engages someone in play.

Rosie is cute, loving, and ready to go. Come meet Rosie at Homeward Pet!

We’re located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville.  Our shelter is open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.  See all our adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at www.homewardpet.org.

Seats are available now for Homeward Pet’s largest fundraiser, the Fur Ball Dinner & Auction  Saturday, May 19, at the Westin Bellevue. It will be an evening of fun, food and inspiration. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on collectible wines, special experiences like sailing the America’s Cup yacht “Stars & Stripes” in the waters of San Diego Bay and an amazing trip to Ireland, complete with a 6-night stay at the Dublin Four Seasons.

Purchase your tickets at homewardpet.org.
