|Northshore track crowns eight at KingCo meet|

Northshore schools represented well at the KingCo 4A track& field championships at Juanita High School Friday, capturing titles in eight events, and the Inglemoor girls’ squad brought home a team title.
Woodinville junior Chandler Olson doubled in the 1600 and 3200 meter races, and Falcon senior Austin Sodorff — the reigning state champion — earned top honors in the pole vault.
The Inglemoor girls’ 4X100 relay team, made up of Paige Monson, Larissa Ashby, Kaitlyn Hollis and Claire Moses, held off the Bothell squad to win in a furious finish. Vikings Michael Mendenhall and Dillon Gongliewski took titles in the 1600 and 110 meter hurdles, respectively.
Bothell’s Morgunn Ewing and Allie Hadley each dominated the javelin event.
Joining the Cougar champions at regionals will be Danny Wilson, Jared Berry, Nick Anthony, Trent Sewell, Nathan Conrad, Derek Pederson, Steven Abernethy, Ryan Routh, Justin Wimmer, Katey Kirkham, Katie Bellusci, Ally Quintos, Jessica Howe, Anoop Gill, Martha Quigg and Cassie Lynch.
The Vikings will send Quinn Edlin, Connor Peasley, Joseph Massey, Sam Omandi, Alexander Braum, Sarah Nash, Shandon Lystad, Kyra Burke, Katie Sturtevant, Anne Seckinger, Dianna Church, Emily Anderson, Ashley Allemeier, Katie Schumacher, Katie Mohn and Brynn Collins.
The Woodinville contingent will include Nikko Llera, Wesley Love, Micah Rubart, Michael Goodsell, Alek Kacmarcik, Conner Kummerlowe, Jake Hollister, Jadin Peerson, Brandon Baker, Nick Luitgaarden, Chrissy Gonzalez, Audrey Phillips, Emmy Billmaier, Brianna Rekevics, Molly Stinson, Savanna Sherstad and Kyla Gedney.
Regionals begin Wednesday at Marysville-Pilchuck High School and continue Friday. Top five finishers in each event move on to the state championships at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma May 24-26.
