Adventures in science ... scholars in the making

The answers to these and many other attention-grabbing theories were explained in great detail at the recent Cherry Valley Elementary Science Fair.
The projects exhibited, like the students’ imaginations, were full of creativity, and ingenuity, including information on ... potato cannons, stats on the circumference of wheels, bubble gum competitions, flower potions for a longer bloom and light bulbs that run on batteries, just to name a few.
Cherry Valley would like to thank the science committee, the CV PTA and all of the teachers and staff for their support of this impressive event. Special thanks to Cedarcrest science teacher Bruce Murdock for bringing CHS students Caitlin Guard, Avery Rich, Samantha Lehto, Al Knox and Anjani Patel to Cherry Valley and allowing them to explain their inspiring science and engineering fair projects with CVE students and parents.
The younger students were fascinated to see and hear of the scientific methods created by the high school student scholars, and rallied around their exhibit tables throughout the event.
