Kumon of Woodinville East celebrates opening

Kumon  has opened a center in Woodinville at 19150 NE Woodinville Duvall Road (in the Cottage Lake Safeway Plaza). The Woodinville Chamber of Commerce welcomed Kumon with ribbon cutting event June 6.

Founded in Japan in 1958, the Kumon learning method uses an individualized approach that helps children develop a solid command of math and reading skills.

“At Kumon, we believe children have unlimited potential to succeed,” said  owner, Rubina Virani. “My goal is to help each child develop strong academic skills, a love of learning and the confidence to excel beyond the classroom.”

Kumon of Woodinville-East class hours are: Mondays and Thursdays from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
