Register for the “Successful Composting Basics” class at 21 Acres and get one step closer to creating healthy soil and a vibrant landscape.
As part of the 21 Acres School curriculum, this composting 101 class is offered, Wednesday, August 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Get all your questions answered along with information on additional topics such as open bins vs. containers; activators, worms and micro-organisms; and, when and how to use compost.
Instructor, Fred Wemer, is a certified Master Gardener and volunteers as the Garden Operations Leader at the Bellevue Demonstration Garden. His composting expertise has been honed gardening two-thirds of an acre on a forested island where he composts everything.
