obit BarngroverRoger Alan Barngrover passed away suddenly while fishing in Montana on the Yellowstone River. Roger was born in Decatur, Illinois and was the son of Gladys Jeppson and the late Robert Barngrover. He is survived by his wife Pam Taylor, his son Brandon Barngrover, his sisters Nancy and Janet and his brother Ron.

Roger (Mr. B.) was a beloved third grade teacher at Crystal Springs Elementary School for 20 years. He was passionate about theater and music and his students knew him for his wonderful sense of humor. Roger’s life passion was fishing and died while doing what he loved most.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at Crystal Springs Elementary School on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Cast Hope.org, a nonprofit organization impacting underprivileged and at-risk youth and their mentors through fly fishing experiences.

Roger will be truly missed by his family, friends, students and faculty.
