Betty went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2012. She was 80 years old.
She was born Betty Ann Freeman on December 18, 1931.
Betty was one of four children born to Dudley and Erna Freeman in Fergus Falls, Minn.
She is survived by her sister Darlene and brothers Ken and Don.
Betty married the love of her life Merton Jorve on March 16, 1952.
They had 6 children together: Sandy, Tim, Karen, Pam, Melinda and Jim.
In 1955 they moved to Seattle where she worked at Boeing and then for Safeway in Bothell.
After retiring from Safeway, she worked with her husband Mert at Woodinville Real Estate, where he was co-owner.
They retired from real estate in 1992 to start a new adventure in traveling, fishing and visiting family and friends as often as they could.
She was always so thankful to have many supportive family and friends.
Her loving husband, Merton James Jorve went to heaven in 1998.
She is also preceded in death by her daughter Melinda in 1960, her son Jimmy in 1976 and her grandson Shawn in 2002.

Betty had 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and her family meant everything to her.
Mom was so full of love, laughter, mercy and encouragement. We will all miss her dearly.
