Patricia (Rita) Langlois

Obit LangloisPatricia (Rita) Langlois peacefully passed away in the company of her loving family on Monday, October 8, 2012, in Woodinville, Wash.

Rita was born on May 11, 1928, in Queens, New York to Lillian and Joseph Delaney.

She was one of two children and is survived by her brother, Gerald Delaney of Naples, Fla.

Married in 1961 to Robert Langlois, they lived in Boonton Twp., New Jersey and raised three loving children: Karen Solomon, Kevin Langlois and Jerry Langlois, and genuinely spoiled five grandchildren: Leah Solomon, Ryan Langlois, Nick Langlois, Anna Langlois and Julia Langlois.

In 1996, Rita and Bob moved to Woodinville and lived with their daughter Karen and son-in-law Edward Solomon.

She leaves behind many extended family, loved ones and close friends.

Rita loved children and delighted in working as an administrative assistant at Rockaway Valley Elementary School, Mt. Lakes Middle School and  for the superintendent of schools for Mt. Lakes, New Jersey.  She made a difference in many young lives and was loved by all.

Rita was always involved in community functions in New Jersey and Washington.  She organized and managed the Boonton Township bi-centennial celebration and organized the one day fundraising event, Fan Fair, for Riverside Hospital in Boonton, NJ.  She also worked many years alongside Bob at the Hollywood Hill Saddle Club running the Cookshack for the Western Games, Hunters and English/Western Flat Shows.  Rita was and will always be an amazing spirit, loved and respected by all who knew her.  She lived her life in the selfless pursuit of enriching the lives of others.
