Pet of the Week - November 5, 2012

  • Written by Homeward Pet Adoption Center
Fiona_POWFiona is always the first cat to greet you when you enter our Homeward cat room.

This pretty gal welcomes you with open “paws” and a friendly meow, perhaps in hopes that you will immediately take notice of her.

She is a little on the plump side —  nothing that couldn’t be solved with a little exercise and a bit less food.

This lovely 5 year old is at our shelter because her human was ill and no longer able to care for her. Being a diva, Fiona would prefer to be the only cat in the household so that she doesn’t have to share you with other felines.

We can’t think of a better cat to cozy up with during the cold winter months. We know Fiona concurs!

We are located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville and are open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

See all our adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at www.homewardpet.org.

Sometimes a little extra help feeding a pet can make the difference in whether someone has to give up their beloved friend or not.

This holiday season, join with Homeward Pet for the third annual Holiday Pet Food Drive to help animals and families in need in our community.

Through December 31, drop off your generous dog or cat food donation to Homeward Pet between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. or at any of the participating locations listed on our website, www.homewardpet.org.
