Tree Planting along Sammamish River Trail on Nov. 10

Volunteers are needed to help plant trees along the Woodinville section of the Sammamish River Trail on Saturday Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The planting is a joint effort between the Mountains to Sound Greenway, The Sammamish River Stewards, and the City of Woodinville.

Volunteers help to:

• Beautify the Sammamish River Trail

• Protect Salmon Spawning Areas

• Restore the Natural Environment

• Plant Native Trees and Shrubs

• Remove Invasive Plants

Restoration events are held the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon.
