Should Have Waited a Week …

A Woodinville Police officer made contact with the occupants of a suspicious vehicle near NE 179th and 142nd Ave NE and smelled the essence of a suspect substance (which was the subject of legalization during our most recent election) coming from inside the car. One suspect was arrested and cited for possession of this soon-to-be-legal weed and released to his parents.  As is the case with other mood altering substances, he’ll still need to wait until he’s 21.

Bad Bar Behavior

A bar patron in the 14300 block of NE 145th Street did more than belly up to the bar, helping him or herself to the bartender’s wallet from her purse. The suspect obviously had no plans to start a tab elsewhere, making use of the stolen credit cards at other locations in Snohomish County.

Hot Commodity

Police and Fire responded to a fire in the 12600 block of NE 173rd Place where biodiesel was being processed. The shed on the property, as well as the biodiesel materials, were destroyed.

Kitchen Capers

An alert neighbor called police after hearing a home alarm in the 15100 block of NE 198th Place and then seeing a white van leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Police checked the home and found there was an attempt to enter the home through the kitchen window.  Even the seasoned burglar can’t resist that old alarmed cookie jar trap.
