|Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff|
The Woodinville High School Music Department (concert choir, jazz band, orchestra, percussion ensemble, wind ensemble) invites the community to two upcoming events.
The first is their annual winter concert, Thursday, December 6, at the new WHS Performing Arts Center on the WHS campus. The show begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
The second event is an inaugural live/silent auction mixer on Thursday, December 13, at Russell’s restaurant in Bothell (3305 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell). The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. in Russell’s Loft and includes many fabulous items, including autographed Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC memorabilia, tickets to Seattle Mariners, Washington Stealth and Seattle Thunderbirds games, a full xBox 360/Kinect bundle with games, dinners at restaurants owned by Tom Douglas and other chefs and much more. This event is also open to the public and will feature wine donated by a number of Woodinville wineries, including DeLille Cellars, Januik Winery (Novelty Hill), Pandora Cellars, Washington Wine and more.
This event is a fundraiser to help students pay for uniforms, instruments and transportation to and from
performances and competitions. Please visit www.whsmusicboosters.com for more information.
If you are interested in being a wine sponsor or donating goods/services to the auction, please email Su Ring-Vitue, auction co-chair at firstname.lastname@example.org.
