‘Comfort From the Cold’ coat drive

Global Spectrum management for the Comcast Arena at Everett knows that it’s better to give than to receive, but it’s best to give and receive.

That’s why they’re teaming up with the FIRE on ICE World Championship ICE Racing series for the “Comfort From The Cold” coat drive.

The concept is simple: Give a coat. Get a discount. It’s the perfect opportunity to ensure that no one goes without the basic necessity of a coat this winter.

Guests who donate a new or gently used coat or jacket will receive a $5 discount on general admission tickets to the FIRE on ICE World Championship Ice Racing event taking place at Comcast Arena at Everett on December 15.

General admission tickets will be $10 with a donation, while the child’s ticket price will be just $3.

Tickets increase $2 day of show.

Coats of all shapes and sizes will be accepted, with all donations benefiting the Salvation Army’s Everett chapter.

Donations can be dropped off at the Comcast Arena box office (2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett) through Saturday, December 15.

The FIRE on ICE World Championship ICE Racing series features North America’s top motorcycle and quad ice racers competing in two professional divisions. The racing excitement starts at 7 p.m. Also planned is a death defying quad jump through the ring of fire. This stunt has never been seen before this special world championship race weekend.
