‘Longboarder’ burglar arrested with aid of ‘Most Wanted.’ Crime Stopper tips

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

A male suspect forcibly entered a residence located in the 14100 block of 107th Ave. NE in Kirkland during the short time the owner was away. The suspect stole electronics, jewelry and property valued in excess of $4,900. The owner had installed video cameras at the home which recorded much of the suspect’s criminal act.  Thanks to a recent broadcast by KCPQ (Q-13 Fox) of the “Washington’s Most Wanted” series, the burglary suspect was identified and is behind bars. On Dec. 20 Bellevue Police officers and detectives, assisting Kirkland Police detectives, arrested a 42-year-old male suggested by the anonymous tipsters via Crime Stoppers. The suspect was booked into the King County jail for investigation of residential burglary and first degree theft.
