Arrowhead Elementary fifth-grader Jackson Mann took top honors in the school’s second annual Geography Bee at Arrowhead in Kenmore on Wednesday night. At left is principal Jesse Harrison, who presented his medal. Sponsored by the school’s award-winning PTA and endorsed by the National Geographic Society, Arrowhead is one of three Northshore School District schools — the others are Hollywood Hill in Woodinville and Lockwood in Bothell — to participate in the event, which comprises students from fourth to sixth grades. Mann, 10, finished in second place last year and now will compete for a spot in the state competition which takes place in April.
