“The Dining Room” by A.R.Gurney will be presented in  Woodinville High School’s new theatre January 31, February 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Feast on the actors’ virtuoso skill in changing roles, personalities and ages as scenes spanning 50 years play out over the course of one theatrical day in this once so central room, revealing many patterns of how America itself has transformed so dramatically.

Dovetailing swiftly and smoothly, the varied scenes coalesce ultimately into a theatrical experience of exceptional range, compassionate humor and abundant humanity.

It is a smorgasbord of 57 characters: rascally little boys, stern grandfathers, giggly teen girls, business professionals, Irish maids, cheating parents and birthday party kids.

“The Dining Room” is recommended for ages junior high school and above.

Tickets are $10 for students/seniors and $12 for general admission.

For information, call (425) 408-7400.
