Suspect sought in Bothell armed robbery

Bothell_Armed_Robbery_Page_2On Saturday, January 19, 2013, at approximately 2:26 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at Big Foot Java, located at 18115 SR 522 in Bothell.

The suspect walked up to the drive-through window of the espresso stand displaying a black handgun and demanded money from the till.

The suspect has been described as a white or Hispanic male ranging in age from 23-27 years old, 5’2” to 5’6”, with a stocky build.

The suspect wore a dark stocking-type hat with a gray hoodie pulled up over his head and a black and white bandana concealing the lower portion of his face, light colored gloves and jeans.

It is believed the suspect left the scene in a nearby staged getaway vehicle and may not be working alone.

This suspect’s description is consistent with a suspect wanted in nearly 20 armed robberies from Renton to Everett since October 21, 2012.

The Bellevue, Kirkland and Everett police departments have released the sketch to the left.

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect.
