Pet of the Week - February 11, 2013

  • Written by Homeward Pet Adoption Center
Spanky POWWith one ear up and one ear down, this tan cutie is Spanky a darling Chihuahua mix who is currently waiting for his forever home at Homeward Pet.

Though he gets walked and played with by the volunteers every day, he says it is just not the same as finding a home to call his own.

Spanky is an active and playful guy who loves to go for walks and romp around in the yard, and the staff and volunteers are always amused with his playful antics.

At just under 14 pounds Spanky is a lively and playful small breed dog.

He gets along best with female dogs and will chase cats playfully, so would do best with dog-savvy cats.

Older and respectful children would be best suited for him. Come and meet him today at Homeward Pet!

We are located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville and are open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

See all our adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at www.homewardpet.org.

February is Homeward Pet’s 23rd anniversary month — celebrating over 21,000 dogs and cats finding forever homes!

Their anniversary goal is to raise 230 donations of just $23 during the month of February. Visit www.homewardpet.org.  Additionally, on Saturday, February 23, all adoption fees are just $23.
