As part of the 11th annual Ballard Jazz Festival, the Nordic Heritage Museum is again hosting the Swedish Pancake Jazz Brunch.

The event on Saturday, April 20, includes seatings at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and features the big band sounds of David Marriott’s Triskaidekaband.

Award-winning musician and educator David Marriott, Jr., is the premier jazz trombonist in the greater Seattle area. His uncanny and imaginative playing is a cornerstone of such groups as Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, Emerald City Jazz Orchestra, Wayne Horvitz’s Washington Composers Orchestra (WACO), Zubatto Syndicate and The Right Wolf as well as his own groups, Septology, Pop Culture, Triskaidekaband and Marriott Jazz Quintet.

Tickets for this all-ages show are $12 for museum members and $15 for non-museum members, or $40 for a family of four.
