  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

SEPAC welcomes Theresa Winther, LMFT and supervisor of children and family services at Sound Mental Health, to present an overview of what mental health or mental “wellness” looks like Wednesday, April 24 from 7-9 p.m. at the NSD Administrative Center 3330 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, WA 98021.

Also covered will be symptoms of worrisome or troubled mental health (for example, kids not sleeping or sleeping too much, anxiety, depression, withdrawal, eating disorders, cutting, drugs and alcohol to name a few).

Winther will discuss how to identify if your child may be struggling, where to start in getting help and how to remove the stigma and shame often associated with mental health issues.

Note that no childcare will be provided.
