Maltby Bluegrass Concert, Auction, Jam set for April 20

The Maltby Bluegrass Concert, Auction and Jam,  a popular family-oriented event is the main fundraising event for the Maltby Community Club, a non-profit community club that has been serving the Woodinville, Cathcart, Monroe, Maltby, Bothell and Snohomish area for over 80 years.There is also a free monthly Maltby bluegrass music academy for youth that takes place in the afternoon of the monthly Maltby jam.

One of the event emcees, Pete Goodall, a Maltby resident, is a bluegrass deejay on KBCS radio in Bellevue and will be performing in one of the bands, Badger Pocket.

The three bands performing this year hail from Oregon and Washington and are among the top bluegrass bands in the Northwest.

Several award-winning musicians are in these bands.

You’ll see multiple generations playing in the band with musicians ranging in age from teenagers to people in their 70s.The three bands performing this year are:
