BAD HAIR DAY AND SO MUCH MORE
A fraudster in the 13200 block of NE 175th Street probably should have stayed in bed on this particular day. Her first bad move was trying to cash a stolen check. Alert bank employees called police, causing our bumbling bilker to panic and exit stage right, leaving her identification behind. Her getaway car didn’t get very far, colliding with another vehicle in short order.
Although our incompetent crook left the scene at this point, her driving companion quickly threw her under the bus by identifying her to police. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant, and the Woodinville detective is following up this investigation. Bad hair is the least of this gal’s worries.
A gentleman with questionable taste in alcoholic beverages and even more questionable check-out etiquette was seen in a store in the 14000 block of NE Woodinville- Duvall Road concealing a bottle of Fireball alcohol and leaving without paying. Goodness gracious!
HERE A HONDA, THERE A HONDA
A victim in the 13400 block of 145th Place NE reported their Honda stolen sometime during the night.
When officers arrived, they just happened to find another Honda in the same area which had been reported stolen from Puyallup. This was a bad place to be a car on this particular night, as another car in the area had its window smashed and a purse with cash and credit cards stolen.
A victim in the 15500 block of Woodinville-Redmond Road left her gymnastics workout a bit lighter than when she arrived. Unfortunately, that load was in the form of cash and a cell phone, taken from her purse which had been stowed in a cubby. That good feeling from a rigorous workout ended immediately.
