Pet of the Week - April 22, 2013

  • Written by Homeward Pet Adoption

Mikey POW

You won’t meet a more adorable dog than Mikey! This little Chihuahua looks like he has a perm with his brown curly fur framing his face and ears.

He is a friendly and playful boy with a winning personality to match his charming good looks.

Mikey enjoys cuddling up with his people and snuggling in under the covers at bedtime.

He is also a big fan of play time and loves soft squeaky toys.

He does best with slow introductions to other animals in the home as he does not have a lot of experience with them.

This little guy is about 11 pounds — the perfect size if you are looking for a travel companion or someone to sit in your lap in front of the fireplace.

So come in to Homeward Pet and meet Mikey today!

Homeward Pet is located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville and open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. Would you know animal cruelty if you saw it? Or who to contact? Go to www.homewardpet.org to learn how to recognize animal cruelty, who to contact, and how to report it. All month visit Homeward Pet on facebook to read the stories of adoptable animals who’ve overcome abuse, neglect or abandonment and are now looking for their forever homes at Homeward Pet Adoption Center.
