Slide closes road

On Wednesday, April 17, Woodinville Fire & Rescue responded to a landslide that came down across the road in the 15200 block of NE 146th Place.Tree stumps and other vegetation debris hit two cars that were driving on the road at the time. The landslide occurred at around 10:15 a.m. on the road heading up to Hollywood Hill east of the Hollywood School House roundabout. As a result of the slide, the road was closed for several hours. A Suburban was struck by the landslide and pushed into another car causing damage to both vehicles. Occupants in the vehicles were evaluated for minor injuries at the scene. King County Public Works responded to the location to evaluate the hillside and clean up the landslide.
