The Woodinville Heritage Museum will be open to the public Sunday, May 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
The museum is housed in the pioneer DeYoung House at 14221 NE 171st St., one block east of 140th Avenue NE. One exhibit room contains a display of Woodinville’s 10 early-day general stores, including artifacts and photos. Another room features photos and information depicting the history of the DeYoung family. The museum will begin its summer schedule May 26 (Memorial Day weekend) when it is open every Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. through Labor Day weekend.
A new exhibit coming in July will spotlight the Hollywood Farm founded in 1913, the Hollywood Poultry Farm and the historic Stimson Mansion. The property now houses Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery.
