SEPAC & NSD to host presentation

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

SEPAC (Special Education Parent/Professional Advisory Council) and the Northshore School District will present a discussion Wednesday, May 22, from 7-9 p.m. at the NSD Administrative Center, 3330 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, focusing on “Sexual Abuse: Intervention, Prevention & Response” for People with Disabilities

People with disabilities experience greater rates of sexual assault and domestic violence than those without disabilities and often have less ability to communicate what is happening to them or to advocate for themselves.

Shirley Paceley and advocate and survivor Mary Suggs will speak.

A $5 suggested donation will be gratefully accepted to help defray expenses of this special presentation.
