The McChord Retiree Activities Office is busy  planning the 2013 Military Retiree Heritage Dinner for June 22 at the McChord Co-located Club.

This banquet was previously presented as a Military Dining Out, but in recent years became more popular as a Heritage Dinner.

For this 35th annual event, the guest speaker will be Retired Lt. Colonel Edward Saylor, one of only four remaining survivors of the famous Doolittle Raiders.

A traditional commemoration of past RAO volunteers will be presented by long-time Volunteer, D.D. Hoffman (MAJ, USAF Retired).

Retirees of ALL branches  of the military, as well as their families and friends, active duty and anyone connected to the services are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Come and greet old friends, meet new ones, and exchange wonderful memories of past days.
Military members are encouraged to wear their uniforms if possible.

Uniforms of all branches and from World War II on are seen at these events.
Dress  is semi -formal or dressy-casual.
The evening is full of nostalgia and camaraderie. Door prizes are always a fun part of the event.
Social hour begins at 6:30, with seating for dinner following at 7 p.m.
