Camp Korey Family Day set for June 1

On June 1, from 1 to 3 p.m., Camp Korey at Carnation Farm will open their beautiful, historic grounds to the community for “Family Day,” a summer kick-off celebration honoring the entire Camp Korey family.
Campers, parents, volunteers, donors, friends and local community members will enjoy an afternoon of camp activities including a scavenger hunt, face painting, arts n’ crafts, pet therapy and gardening as well as wood-fired slices by Veraci Pizza.

Camp Korey is honored to welcome special guest Clea Newman-Soderlund (Paul Newman’s daughter) to Family Day where she will share the importance of camp to her and her family. Mrs. Newman-Soderlund joined the SeriousFun Children’s Network team in early 2013 as senior director of External Affairs where she works to advance her father’s dream to bring serious fun to more children and families worldwide.

“Family is at the core of everything Camp Korey stands for,” says Tim Rose, Camp Korey’s founder and board president. “We are thrilled to invite our entire camp family and local community members to Family Day, where we will have fun, celebrate our incredible accomplishments together, and experience the magic of Camp Korey firsthand.”

Camp Korey wishes to thank the community for nurturing and supporting their mission. To RSVP for Family Day, please visit
