Local students make a splash with ‘The Little Mermaid Jr.’

Emilie says, “I’ve always loved the Little Mermaid, so I am thrilled to be a part of a local production. I can’t wait for opening night!”

This classic Disney title contains all of the songs from the Academy Award® winning animated feature film as well as three new songs from the Broadway show.

The Little Mermaid Jr. takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, the king of the sea, escape the clutches of an evil sea witch and convince a prince that she’s the girl with the perfect voice. Featuring favorite songs such as “Under the Sea,” “Part of Your World,” and “Kiss The Girl” this show is sure to be a treat for the entire family.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. is a PG show recommended for ages 4 and up. The Little Mermaid Jr. is directed by Leslie Connor, musically directed by Blake Saunders, and choreographed by UJ.

Show dates and times: July 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st. Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m.
