Coming soon to Duvall: SnoRiver Rock Concert

  • Written by Valley View Staff

vvpianoThose who have been admiring the colorful piano on the Main Street sidewalk for the last few weeks can thank Duvall Safeway Manager Roger Jones for the artwork. The instrument will be the main attraction during the upcoming piano drop at the SnoRiver Rock Concert. The piano has been an inviting addition to the downtown area, where many passers-by have tried their hand at it.

The SnoRiver Rock Concert and Lighter than Air Fare will be held Aug. 3, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at McCormick Park in Duvall.

Highlights of this free, all-ages centennial event will be a piano drop, balloon rides, and music, which will include the Jack Ballard Band, Jr. Cadillac, The Rent Collectors, Alice Stuart and The Formerlys, Maltby Crew and more.

Food will be available, along with   a beer and wine garden. Also on the event calendar are vintage VWs and motorcycle and scooter rallies.
This is one of many events the city has put together throughout the year to celebrate its centennial.

Next up,  SandBlast: 2013 “SandTennial” on the shore of the Snoqualmie River on July 20 and 21 (see back page).
