21 Acres is taking its organic produce on the road to Molbak’sSaturday, September 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the public is invited to shop 21 Acres’ farm stand for fresh, local produce and artisan foods.
The farm stand is part of Molbak’s Celebrate Fall Farm Flavors event which includes an opportunity for attendees to create their own herbal seasoning blend and to meet Executive Chef Brian Scheehser of Kirkland’s restaurant Trellis.
Scheehser, who supplies Trellis with produce from his own Sammamish Valley farm, will be at Molbak’s from noon to 2 p.m. to answer questions about cooking and growing fresh produce.
Blain Hages, head cheese maker for Cherry Valley Dairy, will also be on hand with samples of their award-winning artisan cheeses.
All events are free and open to the public.
