SHIVER ME TIMBERS!
A victim in the 17100 block of 131st Avenue NE reported that the driver’s side rear tire, wheel and lug nuts were hornswaggled from her vehicle and it was left propped up on a piece of wood like some kind of auto-pirate.
Here’s hoping that whoever the thieving scallywag is, they get the keelhauling they deserve. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!
LIKE A BAD PENNY…
…this fellow kept showing up again and again at a business in the 12800 block of NE 175th Street, in spite of being trespassed at the owner’s request.
After pressing his luck one too many times, he was eventually arrested after confronting the officer. He was booked into jail for trespass and resisting arrest.
SHOPPING LIKE NO ONE’S WATCHING
A shopper in the 13900 block of NE 178th Place must have thought that the government shutdown extended to store security systems.
Security video captured this individual blithely stuffing merchandise under his clothes and filling his cart with his heart’s desires.
The video also captured him sashaying right past the cash register and out the door without paying. Our government may be shut down, but Security never sleeps, and cameras don’t lie.
HIT AND DROP EVIDENCE AND RUN
Witnesses at NE 175th and 133rd NE told officers they observed a vehicle leave the roadway and strike a speed limit sign and drive away.
Officers located the sign on the ground along with the suspect vehicle’s front license plate.
I’d like to be a fly on the wall when the scoundrel tries to explain that one.
