Duvall artist Dan Cautrell discusses his work "Origins" that represents the early years of Duvall and its pioneering spirit. The town’s third centennial sculpture was unveiled during the September 14 Art Walk. Dan’s work is also displayed on the Main Street cedar panels and various sites around the city. He is also well-known for his "Offerings to the Wind" project (log end carvings along Valley roadsides) that he began after the huge windstorm several years ago knocked down hundreds of trees and left Duvall without power for almost two weeks.
