Julie Lynn (George) Lawson, 58, a resident of Moses Lake (and former Duvall and Carnation resident) passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, from complications due to health issues.
Julie spent most of her life in the Snoqualmie Valley, graduating from Tolt High School in 1973.
She then met the love of her life, John Lawson, and after two years of dating, married in 1977.
In 1979, they welcomed son Charlie and in 1985, daughter Carey.
John and Julie continued to live in the area until 1993 when they decided to trade 300 days of rain for 300 days of sunshine in Moses Lake.
Julie loved her family very much and she looked forward to the holidays when everyone would get together.
Julie told her family that she was sick in October of 2012, and also told them that she was going to fight it — and she did.
Sadly, Julie lost her battle with Sjogrens & Lupus, with her loved ones at home.
Her family is so proud of her for fighting as hard as she did and doing so with a happy face on, so she wouldn’t worry her family. She will be forever missed, and we love her that BIG MUCH...
Julie is survived by her beloved husband, John; son, Charlie (Cathy) and granddaughters, Selena and Sabrina; daughter, Carey Lawson; daughter, Michelle and grandchildren, Cody and Cheyanne; brother, Jerry and sister, Jolene; parents, Paul and Verlene George and sisters. Big Jo, Terry and Shelley.
Julie is proceeded in death by both of her parents William and Patty Heyer, mother-in-law Rocky (Lawson) Rush, brother-in-law Rob Lawson and her grandson Baby J.
Services were held in Moses Lake.
