WOODINVILLE — The first public meeting on the Woodinville Comprehensive Plan Update will be on November 13 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at the Woodinville City Council Chambers, 17301 133rd Avenue NE, Woodinville. This meeting provides an opportunity for residents and business owners to communicate the important civic issues that the City of Woodinville needs to consider in the near term and in the future.
The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan is to shape the physical development of Woodinville over a 20-year period, guide growth consistent with the community’s values and to plan for resource allocation to provide required municipal services to current and future residents and businesses. This update will cover the years 2015-2035.
The planning process is designed to promote community involvement and encourage citizen participation.
Community outreach is included throughout the process, with multiple opportunities for citizens to weigh in on their priorities and opinions regarding Woodinville’s future development.
