 Wayne and Kathy Strand of Woodinville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Strand to Jacob Patton, son of Robert and Joyce Patton of Lindon, Utah.
Julie graduated from Woodinville High School in 2000 and Brigham Young University in 2010 with a degree in elementary education. She taught third grade last year at Midvale Elementary School in Utah.
Jacob graduated from Copper Hills High School in 2003. He is currently working on his degree in computer science.
They will marry in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 4, 2010, and will reside in Taylorsville, Utah.

 Tina and John Murphy and Lisa and Ty Heiserman, Wenatchee residents, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter and son.
Rebekah E. DuBeau, 22, a graduate of Woodinville High in 2006, will marry Justin McBride, U.S Army 2nd Cavalry Unit, Stryker Brigade, on July 31, 2010.
Justin will be stationed in Germany where the couple plan to live for the next three years.

 Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Binz III have announced the engagement of their daughter, Katie, to Andre Sims.
Andre, 31, is the son of Dashiell and Jayne Sims of Chino Hills, Calif.
He graduated in 1997 from Kent-Meridian High School and attended Western Washington University. He is currently working as the operations and sales manager for an export and import company in Renton, Wash.
Katie, 29, is the daughter of Walter and Eunice Binz of Woodinville, Wash.
She is a 1998 Redmond High School alumna and graduated from California Lutheran University in 2002. She has been working in marketing and fundraising for higher education since.
Andre proposed to Katie after a romantic dinner this past February. The wedding will be held at Katie’s grandparents garden in Normandy Park, Wash., in July 2010.

 Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Stewart, both of Woodinville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Kelli Miller and Justin Stewart.They will be married at The Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, Calif., on October 10, 2010.
Kelli graduated from Woodinville High School in 1999 and is a 2002 graduate of the University of Washington Business School.
Kelli currently works for Nordstrom corporate marketing as an Internet project manager.
Justin graduated from Redmond High School in 1999 and is a 2004 graduate of the University of Arizona, where he played football.
Justin currently is a project manager and partner at Synergy Construction, a Woodinville-based general contractor. The couple currently resides in Kenmore.

Scott and Kathy Forgeng of Martinsville, Ind., announce the engagement of their daughter, Greta Marie Forgeng, to Joshua David Monroe, son of David and Vicki Monroe of Woodinville, Wash.
Greta is a 2003 graduate of Martinsville High School, and a 2007 graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training. She went on to complete her master’s degree in athletic training from Ohio University in 2009. She is currently employed by Elite Physical and Sports Therapy as a licensed athletic trainer for Mt. Spokane High School.
Josh is a 2002 graduate of Woodinville High School and a 2007 graduate of Gonzaga University with a bachelor of arts degree in sports management.
He is currently employed by Jigsaw Data Corporation in Post Falls, Idaho, as a customer success manager and is the pitching coach for the Ferris High School baseball team.
Josh and Greta met the summer of 2007 at Gonzaga University while helping with GU’s youth sports camps.
They will marry in Spokane, Wash., July 17, 2010, where they will continue to reside after returning from their honeymoon.
