Milbrandt lands a big one on the Columbia River

fishing This 48-lb. 2-oz. Chinook salmon was caught on Nov. 1 by Roy Milbrandt (pictured above) on the Columbia River beneath the Priest Rapids Dam. He fought the fish for 1 3/4 hours before landing it.
It's the largest salmon Milbrandt has ever caught. He nearly repeated his performance one hour later by catching a 38-pounder.
Milbrandt won a flotation jacket from Warden Lures Company for using their "Warden Wiggle Wort" to catch his salmon.
