Woodinville music series continues with Stanley Greenthal

music series Songwriter and instrumentalist Stanley Greenthal will perform at Java Jive Cabaret Saturday, Nov. 18, 8 p.m. at the Woodinville Unitarian Church, 175th Street Office Park, Building B, (behind Roxie's CDs and Tapes in 175th Street Station).
    The continuing music series is presented by Roxie's and the WUUC.
    Greenthal presents a mix of his original songs and arrangements of traditional instrumental music of Brittany, Scotland, Ireland and the Balkans.
    A Seattle musician, Greenthal has two highly-praised recordings, "All Roads" and "Songs for the Journey."
    "In Stanley Greethal's music, images belong to the listener," wrote the Seattle Times. "'All Roads' is a testament to all the places and events that inspire people to make music."
    The cabaret series continues with Double Cookin' on Jan. 20 and Mark Graham and Orville Johnson on Feb.10, 1996.
    Tickets at $7 ($8 at the door) are available at Roxie's, 13317 NE 175th Street, in downtown Woodinville.
