New classes for winter

winter classes King County Parks has announced its new Northshore classes for winter.
    Country and Western Line Dance classes, featuring the electric slide, the boot scootin' boogie, and the tush push, will be held through Dec. 6 Wednesdays from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at the Gold Creek Lodge in Woodinville.
    Beginning Guitar will be held Jan. 22 through Feb. 22 Mon. and Thurs. at the Kenmore Park Office. Classes for ages 7 to 12 are from 6 to 7 p.m. and ages 13 and older meet from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Cost is $38 for 10 classes.
    American Sign Language will be taught Tuesdays Jan. 23 through Mar. 5 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at Gold Creek Park in Woodinville. Appropriate for ages 3 and up, cost of the class is $30 for the first family member and $19 for additional family members.
    Ages 13 through adult can learn how to sign and more about the culture of the deaf community Jan. 24 through Mar. 20 at the Ricketts Bldg., room 18. Beginning students meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and the time for returning students is 7:30 to 9 p.m. Cost is $59 for eight 1 1/2-hour classes. For information, call 296-2976.
